A Lesson From Mary (blog)

  • Thank you Melanie for giving us “food for thought” this day before Christmas Eve. Mary is often overlooked by many of us Lutherans, thinking she is only to be remembered or revered by our Roman Catholic friends. But, ;not true. Our pastor preached a great sermon this past Sunday where he reminded us of the virgin birth of our Savior. Sometimes difficult to wrap ones head around it all, but faith is a wonderful thing, isn’t it. Merry Christmas, and thanks Pr. Bob for posting on his timeline.

  • Amen. Thank you for having the faith and insight to address only one of the many lessons much of the world has missed, and by choice. The faith and obedience, the humility and the courage of His earthly Mother is a shining example for the 20th and 20th century Christian.. man and especially woman, alike.

1 Peter 3:15 - But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.
